Oregon City - the end of the Barlow Trail.

Just 20 minutes from downtown you will find the First City of Oregon, a historic place to live and explore. Downtown Oregon City with it's historical Canemah district, the Willamette Locks and Oregon Trail Interpretative Center is worth exlploring. "Uphill" you will find a wide range of different neighborhoods - rural settings with lovely homes on small acreage all the way out to Beavercreek and Redland. Street of Dreams homes on Beaver Lake and a mix of 70's, 80's and 90's subdivisions.

Recently Molalla Ave has undergone a major face lift, resulting in a boulevard like street lined with new trendy places - from tattoo parlor to wine tastings, from fine NW cuisine to Internet cafe's, Arts in the Carnegie Hall and concerts in the park, Oregon City is booming!

My favorite places: Mick's Highland Still House - taste great whiskeys of the world while viewing the Willamette Locks.  Trails End Saloon for live blues & jazz music nightly.
